BUCKEYE RANCH HORSE FUTURITY AND AUCTION
Welcome! We hope you will join us on September 11 and 12, 2026 for our 3rd annual Buckeye Ranch Horse Futurity event. The futurity is on Friday, with a ranch horse auction to follow on Saturday.
The event will be held rain or shine, judged by professional judges and locate inside a large covered arena south of Walnut Creek, Ohio.
You can still nominate 2026 Stallions (with a late fee.) Any 3 year old sired by a nominated stallion can participate in the 3 Year Old Futurity!
New in 2026: Yearling Conformation Class (see below)

Our auction features riding horses, yearlings and yearlings – a great opportunity to get your offspring from nominated stallions in front of buyers who are looking to participate in the Yearling and 3-year old Futurities!
Consignments are due July 18, 2026 (you may submit them at the Ranch Horse Clinic or mail them in.)

We are also working on arranging a cowhorse session. It is free to attend.

Open Class - Ranch Trail
September 11, 2026 - 8am
Anyone and any breed of horse can enter the Ranch Trail Class.
It will be judged by professionals and will be a good measure of your skills or be a nice warm-up for later competition.
Winner receives a saddle! Prizes also awarded to 2nd and 3rd places.
$150/entry

Buckeye Ranch Horse 3-Year-Old Futurity
September 11, 2026 - 6pm
The evening futurity is open to 3-year-olds sired by nominated stallions.
CASH PRIZES AWARDED
Ranch Trail: 1st, $3,000 | 2nd $2,000 | 3rd, $1,000
Ranch Conformation: 1st, $1,500 | 2nd, $1,000 | 3rd, $500
You may enter your horse in one or both classes.

For 2026, we are adding a Yearling Conformation Class. Yearlings by 2025 Nominated Stallions are eligible.

Buckeye Ranch Horse Auction
September 12, 2026 - noon
On Saturday, we’ll host an auction of ranch horses – open to any breed and includes finished riding horses, broodmares, unstarted young horses, yearlings and weanlings. All breeds are welcome, but we feature stock horses.
